The word "Mangará" means "heart" in the Tupi-Guarani languages of Brazil. Indigenous people call the beautiful banana flower "Mangará" because it has a heart-like shape.

Founder Patricia Cossettin created Mangará to bring to life the footwear modern women deserve—crafted with purpose, heart, and an eye for every detail. Born in southern Brazil, Patricia’s Italo-Brazilian roots inspire a brand focused on authenticity and quality over fleeting trends.
